Studies have shown that children who practice yoga show more positive moods and have less anxiety and depression. With all of the pressures that plague school kids today, yoga can be a step in the right direction. In each class we focus on:
- Movements and postures geared at integrating mind and body
- Breathing techniques to relieve stress and sharpen focus
- Mindfulness exercises aimed at improving attention
- Dancing, jogging, skipping, singing and having a lot of fun while practicing traditional yoga poses!
